Thank you for this. If some if your fellow doctors did not believe you, how can we as patients get our doctors to believe us? So happy you got better and can help those who need an understanding, informed doctor. At age 73 I was given Norflox and one week after, one evening my hands, legs, feet and hands went numb but also very sensitive at the same time… and I am still having problems. Some Drs. here in Ontario Canada still prescribe these meds for simple UTIs etc. and do not warn the patient of the risks. Nor was help forthcoming. All for a $12.00 medication.
    Best wishes, Valerie

I’m very happy for you, Dr. Ghalili, that you’ve recovered as well as you have. While I don’t wish this pain on you or anyone, you will be a better doctor because of this personal experience. Adverse drug reactions are very real, very dangerous, and every doctor should prescribe more responsibly.
