I have major CNS symtoms that have not been helped-2 yearsnow. Orthostatic hypotension, insomnia, low temp, chills, GI symtoms. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Ester Schulkin
I really can sympathize with you two. The toesand finger not bending. What is helping me is try to be positive. I put DMSO and soothanol on my feet and toes. and Knees. Cats’ Claw has helped me withe pain. Today is the first day I was able to move my toesand fingers!
I am taking 2000mgs of a magnesium and calcium supplements Even Tums have been helping. With Charcoal tablets at night. I feel like we have been poisoned and our body is trying to get this stuff out.
I am heading back to my doc today. We shall see what happens.
Also take an hour bath in epson salts. I have been putting ice packs on my knees and feet during the day.
I am amazed & pleased I found this place. I strongly suspect I am having side effects from Cipro, so wanted to know what was going on. Unbelievable to think I might have been floxied. However it’s not really. Bit shocked this is going on & spoiling people’s livelihood WTF!
Acupuncture, herbs, massage, chiropractic, hot tub, swimming pool, Epsom salts all help, but acupuncture and herbs fixed me after just over one year of being crippled from the waist down.
I’ve been having GI issues & CNS (I guess is what to call them) since mid May. The gut seemed to be trying to heal but then out of no where it went down hill again. I have lots of symptoms but really nothing I couldn’t live with or ignore if I could get my gut back and get rid of this vibrating/trembling sensation. I’m looking for a contact buddy. If anyone wants to talk please email me: tcrobinson78@gmail.com.
As a newly-minted victim of both Cipro and Moxi, and with a background in organic chemistry and psychopharmacology, I am very sure there is a simple, single-molecule cure.
Neither Cipro nor Moxi form covalent bonds with any Gyrase (Human Topoisomerase II in particular is relevant). That means the FQ molecule is not permanently bonded to Gyrase.
That means that the molecule is just attracted (Hydrogen bonds) and forms a more-stable structure (lower net energy) than without the FQ molecule.
All those FQ victims. Yet, nothing has been destroyed in them.
Their Gyrases are just stopped – jammed up.
Inside each of those stopped Gyrases is a single FQ molecule stabilizing it in that state.
There are about 4-5 Hydrogen bonds for Moxi and two particularly strong sites – the Carboxyl and the Piperazine group.
Using simulation software, a small molecule that binds tighter to Moxi than Moxi does to Gyrase can be designed.
1. When such a molecule approaches the Moxi-Gyrase complex, the Moxi molecule is more attracted to the SM than Gyrase.
2. SM + FQ molecules form a complex via either Hydrogen bonds or covalent links.
3. The complex has no more attractivity to Gyrase and thermal vibrations quickly dislodge it.
4. Without the FQ molecule to stabilize Gyrase in its ‘stuck’ position, Gyrase then begins to work again.
There’s a second type of small-molecule solution too: one that actually reacts with the FQ molecule to change its structure. The changed FQ isn’t attracted strongly enough to Gyrase and is displaced by thermal vibrations.
Using the funds pooled from victims, correct design and simulation software, and finally submitting the design to the Chinese chemcos (I’m in contact with over 1000), we can get an affordable solution for oral or IV use.
The take-home message from me to you is this: FQs don’t directly destroy DNA or much else but they do lockup Gyrase. All symptoms that continue after dosing is halted are due to the continued presence of FQs locking up your Gyrases. When the FQs are dislodged from their Gyrases, the disease and symptoms end.
This cure is not only possible but can be quickly implemented at an affordable price. All that is required is dedicated effort, correct analysis and finally a bit of funding to synthesize the cure.
Tell me your thoughts. It’s too late at night for me to type up my case but I can tomorrow or soon thereafter.
Yours,
Jason Lalancette
Jason Lalancette, are you currently working on this research of the “cure” or have a way to research and test this theory?
I have been suffering from the side effects of Cipro for over 2 years. My recovery has been the focus of my life, and I have tried a variety of remedies ( all natural) from massage, acupuncture, herbs, supplements, etc… all of which have helped, but not cured me. Always with a relapse and symptoms recurring on an unpredictable cycle. But 3 weeks ago I started the “Fluoroquinolone Toxicity Solution” by Kerri Knox, and I have enjoyed a dramatic improvement in my health and well being. My ability to increase the duration and intensity of my athletic workouts has been incredible. In addition, I am not exhausted at the end of every day, which has been the case for over 2 years. I would urge all who have been floxed, and wish to recover, to follow Ms. Knox’s one hundred and thirty three page document on a toxicity solution. I am finally becoming the athletic and astute person I was prior to my dosage of Cipro in the year of 2013.
100% Cured now! I am not a doctor, I am not giving you any medical advise, but I will share my story and tell you what worked for me. I was floxed a few months ago after my doctor. I developed all the same symptoms of the people on this forum (tingling, burning, fatigue, disorientation, confusion, etc.). It almost ruined my life and my relationship. Like everyone, I went on all the forums and searched for cures to this thing. These forums terrified me – people only talked about their symptoms but only a few actually gave a solution, which was frustrating in its self. I finally ran across a few people that used vitamin c. I gave it a try. I used 3500-4000mg of pure vitamin c powder a day (I break it up throughout the day). After about two months, I was 85% better. After three months, I was near 100%. About the fourth month, I had no symptoms at all.
God made vitamin c for a reason. Who would have thought that something as simple as vitamin c could clean a drug as bad as cipro, levaquin, etc. out of your system. I pray that all of you will be 100% healed of these nasty drugs. If you have any questions, contact me at: rwisconsen@gmx.com
Lucy,
I had severe tendonitis, nearly lost Achilles tendons & other tendons in my legs, suffered from neuropathy, water (mucus) retention and a host of other side effects.
Regarding the herbs, my acupuncture physician made blends specific to my issues each visit, which was weekly at the time.
I would also recommend ordering the eBook “The Flouroquinolone Toxicity Solution” from Lisa’s website, with magnesium being the biggest key. Be careful with the fat soluble supplements, which can create a “fatty liver” situation. I have been on all or some form of the authors program for the past six months and I am close to a path of complete wellness now.
Please let me know if I can be of any additional help!
Above all, keep your spirits up, you can & will get better!!!!
Regards,
Patrick
Thanks Patrick. Pls can I e mail you privately.

As a person that has just taken Ciprofloxaxin, I have some concerns and issues.
I haven’t suffered any of the horrible side effects…..YET. (Aside from constipation and minor heartburn), but I’m afraid that somewhere down the line I’m going to get hit hard. I need to know what I must do to at least prevent or limit the possible damage of the side effects.
First of all, are these things going to 100% happen to me? It sounds like there is a 100% rate of these side effects occurring.
Secondly, this is what I have taken and what I’m currently doing now:
I took 20 pills of Cipro 500mg for 10 days for a UTI. The UTI is gone but I have constipation.
As for pills and stuff, I take the following: Concerta 54mg, Vitafusion multivites (2), Ritalin, and Miralax 1 cap a day. I am also taking a Probiotic (Trubiotic from Bayer)
As for food this is what I generally eat:
Morning: 1 Banana, 1 bowl of Multi-grain cherios + Probiotic
I also exercise in the morning on a treadmill. 2 miles at 10 incline for 30 minutes.
For lunch I usually hae carrots, an apple and a turkey & cheese sandwich on multi-grain rounds
Snacks usually are some nuts and graham crackers with milk
Dinner is usually chicken of some kind.
Is there more I should be doing, or should I not worry so much about this? Please let me know. I’m scared about this stuff possibly happening to me.
My name is Yiannis and I am writing this email on behalf of my wife looking for some help and advice.
Two years ago she had some urine infection and took fluoroquinolone antibiotics prescribed by her Doctor (I cannot recall specifically which one but I can find out if needed), and after just 2-3 weeks she completely lost her libido and desire for sex. In addition, she lost the sensation of orgasm. Strange thing according to her is that she feels that she has an orgasm but the sensation is not there like anhedonia. We have visited a few doctors but without any luck or any specific help…can you pls help us on which type of doctor to visit or what kind of help to look for or treatement?
My name is Brenda. On October 12 through October 22, 2015 I took 500mg of Ciprofloxacin every 12 hours (a total of 20 pills) to treat a UTI which left me with tendonitis in my tendons surrounding my inner and outer ankles, Achilles tendons, left shoulder, and left thumb. Often I feel pain in my wrists as well. This week marks my 16th week of enduring this injury. Three weeks ago I began taking Vitapulse every morning because it has NAC, PQQ, and CoQ10 which are ingredients touted to improve mitochondria. I’ve added this to my arsenal of Ensure Plus, fish oil, glucosamine sulfate, orange juice, vitamin D3, Ancient Minerals magnesium chloride foot soak (better than Epsom Salt magnesium sulfate), bone broth and even Jello. I’m hoping that my most recent addition of Vitapulse will make a significant difference with time. It is expensive and I’m out of ideas. Good luck to all in your healing. God bless.
I forgot to mention I also eat an Activia light yogurt every day for probiotics.
Lisa, please send me your books and pamphlets on this subject. thanks and love,
from Grandma Adele.
Hi Jason
What do you mean by the gyrase locking the cipro into the body? Have you continued to research this at all?
many thanks.
No,
I never recovered.But I’m hopeful.
Lisa, is there anyway you can delete that post?
I sent you a message.
