I just grin and bear it really. Turmeric seems to help some. The pain is no fun especially after years of it with no rest. The pain itself doesn’t bother me as much as knowing that it is an indicator of the fact that my joints and tendons have been altered and that they are not healing. I keep waiting for the pain to subside and the functioning to increase but years have gone by now. I used to just push through the pain to exercise but now I’m thinking that made them worse but who knows. I’m trying a different approach of just letting my body rest but I hate not being active. I’m trying to stay positive and hope and pray to God that someday healing will come….. in this lifetime preferably.

Well I just got back from my PT screen. The therapist did had me to some stretching and exercises. She can definitely tell that the muscles in my left leg have atrophied compared to my right. My left calf feels squishy. She said PT would definitely be a good idea to build up the other muscles in my leg again. She was also aware of Cipro related tendon problems and how a lot of the time they are unilateral (like in my case), so that was comforting. Starting next week!

Anyone have tips on tinnitus caused by cipro, anything i can make to at least LIVE with it? A fast-acting medicine maybe? God-lord… I know i’m asking too much but anyway, somebody? Also, i can’t find a single forum/site
about this where i live (Brazil).
There isn’t a single person here who had reactions to this drug? Hard to believe. May God bless us everyday and clean us from this.

Dear Jason I would be grateful for your advice . I wondered if you could advise me on the best way forward in order to obtain details as to whether or not the local water supply has fluoride added to it or not. Is the local authority obliged to give the Public these details?
If they do add it then what can we do about it?
Is there any guarantee that bottled water is fluoride free?
I am in the UK.
Also I saw that cephalosporins -cephalexin, Keflex , aspartame, are to be avoided. Do they contain fluoride and/or the quinolone nucleus?
I am correlating information to start a campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of the fluoroquinolones and fluoride. Am I right in saying that it is the fluoride in the drug and water etc that causes the mitochondrial damage?
The Politicians I intend to approach on this subject may not have sufficient time to read peer reviewed articles at this stage so I am trying to grab their interest by summarising the salient points to make it easier for them to assimilate etc.
Thank you
Lucy.

So I’m noticing something weird about all this dryness that’s going on. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth all the time now. I’ve never had this happen before in my life. But now that’s all I notice. I can’t seem to get it to stop.
Anyone have this?

I have been floxed and continue to suffer most of the signs and symptoms. I would be grateful for any support as I am having a flare up.This morning my eyes started watering slightly having been on the dry side for many months. Is this a good sign or a bad sign?
After being floxed for almost 4 years I have developed major twitching in my legs here lately. I had some of this here and there but it is happening A LOT now. I’ve had “order ancient minerals mag spary” on my to do list for awhile now. Maybe that will help??! Anyone else have this problem?

Jason Please advise as to the best source of potassium and mag concentrate so as to add it to the water. I assume one can purchase Himalayan Sea Salt from a supermarket. Lucy/

Hi Jason Meant to ask if filtering tap water via an ordinary jug/filter is effective in removing fluoride or anything else. I suspect not but just thought I would ask anyway.
Just had another panic attack.

Everyone should note that Cipro impairs our Mitochondria activity AND robs our body of Magnesium. Here is a little more on the cheap and easy to make Magnesium Bicarbonate Water from a Magnesium expert in a great little article he wrote:
“Magnesium Bicarbonate – The Ultimate Mitochondrial Cocktail. Without removing toxins and acids from all organs, cells and tissues, and without providing the essential nutritional building blocks like magnesium, the body will not be able to heal completely. Unless a treatment increases oxygen, water, and nutrients most medical interventions come to naught. When the body’s tissues and cells become too acidic in conjunction with mitochondrial deficiency we set the stage for tissue inflammation and degeneration as we become breeding grounds for anaerobic pathogens. Many in the alternative health field believe that there is not one drug on the market that reduces the acidity of the body or addresses any king of nutritional deficiency. This is not true! There happens to be two exceptional medicines that are excellent in addressing most of the issues mentioned above. Magnesium chloride and sodium bicarbonate are both considered medicines in their injectable forms and both provide almost immediate relief to physiological disturbances. This chapter is specifically about the dynamics of using these two substances together. Adding these two substances to taste not only will re-mineralize highly processed water but will provide the body with a constant supply of the ultimate mitochondrial cocktail. Few clinicians are aware how these two substances work to enhance each other – they are mutually reinforcing because magnesium functions as a bicarbonate co-transporter into cells. And bicarbonate acts as a transporter of magnesium into the mitochondria.”

So apparently this water really helps get Mag right into the cells due to the bicarbonate, and absorption is really really high in general, great article and convinced me to make it and seems like the ultimate water for a Floxie especially.
This is from one of Daniela’s older posts, not sure where she sourced the info from “Magnesium dissolved in water (ionized) is considerably more bioavailable than is magnesium in solid tablets or capsules. About 50% of the magnesium contained in magnesium/bicarbonate water is absorbed. This is 12 times better than the absorption rate for magnesium oxide. So drinking 1 liter of magnesium/bicarbonate water per day would correspond to taking five 500 mg magnesium oxide tablets daily.”

Here is how to easily make this cheap, effective and important water:
You buy a bottle of Milk of Magnesia (like $3), just make sure you buy one that has NO additives what-so-ever, the only ingredients should be Magnesium hydroxide and purified Water. Then buy 1 Liter of Carbonated Water ($1), again the only ingredient here should be Carbonated Water, nothing else. So we are talking $4 here, and this will make about 10 – 12 Litres of Water, almost enough for a week.
Now slowly open the bottle of Water and pour out about 1/2 cup (and do whatever with it). Shake MoM and then Measure 3 TBSP and slowly pour it in water. Put cap on bottle and let fizz for 30 seconds or so, then gently shake bottle a couple of times, let fizz again, then put it in the fridge. 30 mins later, remove bottle and gently shake it again for 10 -15 seconds, put back in fridge. DONE! It couldn’t be much easier. Bottle should be “caved in” if the reaction worked properly, f there is a little MAG at bottom after this process don’t worry just leave it at bottom of bottle, you could try shaking one more time too (if there is a lot at bottom then reaction likely did not work good enough).
This is now a Magnesium Bicarbonate concentrate (don’t drink it!). I add about 1/3-1/2 of a cup of this concentrate to 2 liters of RO Water and then drink water through the day. Note this water is not exactly Mag Bicarbonate but estimated to be very close to it.

Why not just drink the MoM straight from the bottle instead of diluting it? Why is this a better form than the others. Anyway a friend of mine was treated by a doctor at Indiana U., and the doctor recommends MoM. Many floxies in this area seek this doctor for treatment.

Hi All,
I just wanted to remind everyone the FDA has approved GMO salmon for sale to the general public. I am no longer eating salmon unless it comes from Trader Joes that states they will not sell any GMO products. Please be careful. Gmos are very dangerous especially to us!!!

This 13 minute video really shows just how critical proper testing is to someone’s Health.
Note there were several issues but one VERY big one. This person could take all kinds of supplements til the cows come home, maybe slightly alleviate a symptom or two if lucky, but would NOT fully get better unless they addressed the MAIN issue, which this test found
Speaking of mandatory vaccines.. I just reluctantly received a flu vaccine today…. or I lose my job. It’s mandatory in health care. I made sure it was not the multidose thimerosol or aluminum containing variety. This should be a choice….

Hi Mike
This is a terrible situation. What a predicament to be in. Either have the vaccine or lose your job! Hobsons choice!!!!
It is shameful and against your Human Rights, in fact anyone’s Human Rights. This must be exposed because where does it lead?
In some Democratic Countries to force someone to be vaccinated would be a criminal offence.
I am just wondering what is the situation/reaction of the employer if an employee or would be employee is unable to have any vaccine due to allergic reaction or a hypersensitivity to it?
Does the Information leaflet of the drug state that this vaccine must not be given if the person is sensitive to or allergic to any of the constituents of the vaccine?

Hi Steph
How long has this been going on for? I had it then it cleared up.
By some strange coincidence it came back this morning. In my case the cause was put down to stiff neck muscles by a doctor.
I saw a physio who recommended applying alternating heat ice packs. Have to be careful with ice packs and wrap in a towel to avoid getting any ice burns on the skin. Also another important point is NOT to leave the ice pack on longer than 5 to 10 minutes.
I also had some relaxation tapes which helped to relax me hence my muscles.
Please note I was assessed first to rule out a slipped disc etc.
