Hi Everyone,
Yesterday I had my parathyroid surgery, and I just want to say THANK YOU GOD for helping me find what was wrong!!!
I feel 100% cured of EVERY single horrible symptom that I ‘ve been suffering from for 22 months!
No more cracking, popping, aching, joints, muscles and tendons!
No more crazy, jittery, can’t focus, follow, or remember anything brain!
No more dizziness and vertigo!!
No more wrenching stomach!
No more fatigue and weakness!
No more eyes that can’t focus!
And much,much more!
Yesterday, after surgery my husband and I took our kids to Universal Studios, and NOTHING hurt, and we walked for about 5 hours!
Also, I DRANK 2 CUPS OF COFFEE!!!!! Unbelievable! Before I couldn’t drink 2 sips without my brain shaking out of my skull.
And I’ve been eating ANYTHING I want and none of it was organic.
I will post and let you all know if I continue to be 100% better.

Hi Cindy,
I’m not sure how long the operation took because they told me everything while I was so groggy from the anesthesia, but they will email me all that info and I will let you know.
But a typical time is 20 minutes.
I had to pay a $1,750. consultation fee, and my insurance will cover the operation.
If you pay cash you would pay the $1,750. fee and the cost of the operation is $11,950 if I remember correctly. It’s all on their website here http://www.parathyroid.com/
As far as my blood work: my calcium was fluctuating from high 9’s to 10.4 and my PTH was 52 which is in the normal range BUT not if your calcium is high then it should be less than 20. On his site he has a chart where you can enter your labs to see if you would be diagnosed with hyperparathyroid.
Please read the website I posted, it will answer ALL your questions. I took about a week to read every single thing on his site, and then I filled out the How To Become A Patient Form.
I referred myself, and had the surgery in about six weeks.
Joanneg…
I’m so happy you are back to health and able to enjoy the coming summer w your family! 🙂
What did they use for anesthesia? ?
And did you have any reactions to it? That has been a huge concern for me post flox as I am not sure how my body would react if I did need surgery for some reason … even a local injection would scare me at this point 🙁

Lisa B.,
You said there was some floxed people that were diagnosed with hyperparathyroid, do you have any of their testimonies, any details, whether or not they had surgery, and if so how they are doing now??

Hi Regarding the so called ‘normal’ blood tests for thyroid disorders. If you log onto any thyroid forum for example thyroid.uk. TPAUK run by Sheila Turner, Patient co , you will see how this story is reeated time and time again with people being fobbed off with the wrong diagnosis etc. It is scandalous that a lot of drs including endocrinologists are so ignorant about the thyroid gland etc. People suffer needlessly for decades and think they are going mad wen in fact they have a thyroid disorder. The range of thyroid blood tests is rarely done. beat to readp for yourselves. It is just as if not more of a scandal globally tan these poisonous antibiotics.
Please google Dr Barry Peatfield. Dr Robert SKinner, Dr J.C Lowe, Dr Jackie Gellin.

Hi. For those of you whose body couldn’t maintain body temperature and kept fluctuating after being floxed. How long did it last? I’m going crazy being cold all the time then hot then shivers. Anything helps with this? My doctor doesn’t know what can cause this.

Thank you Linda. I’m so scared about doing any kind of iv therapies because I don’t know how it will affect my MS. I’m at a loss about what to do. My MS was mild before and now I feel like the cipro had an effect on it.

Anyone had any luck with theanine for stress and sleep.
I just got home from a 2-week trip to Australia. I’m a bit jet-lagged, but I’m ready to catch up on all of my floxie stuff. If there was a question or concern that you’re waiting for me to address, can you please either re-post it here or email me (through the contact link) with a reminder? Your help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Lisa

ChristmasCarla. Taking 2-5 times daily. How did it affect your meals status with such frequency? That is 3 drops in 8 oz three times daily? Thanks, Tom
Terry,
Sorry to keep harrassing you on the b12 issue lol:) just wondering though, did you suffer from PN, and if so, did it get better after your b12 levels evened out?
Thanks!
Yes that could be:)
I’m definitely not healed but I’ve read studies where R-ala combined w L-carnitine can actually reverse neurapothy .
I’m well over a year out and just now getting PN! Damn:(
I had it when I first got floxed, very intense for a couple months but then went away. I’m hoping this goes away too…
Hi Bob
I just bought all mine separate. I’ve also been using essential oils on my feet and that really helps….like pouring water over a fire lol;)
Frankincense and lavender oil work well
SM
I am just recently discovering this! 🙂
Even if it doesn’t reverse my neurapothy, I am hoping it will at least stop the progression .
I wonder how many people suffering w PN know about R-ala? Unfortunately I think many resort to horrific things like Lyrica, which is a nightmare all on it’s own and heals nothing 🙁

Hello, I have been floxed since October of 2015. It’s been a complete nightmare, every symptom in the book. Is there any correlation between low testosterone and cipro toxicity. I’m a 28 year old male, never had any problems before taking just 15 500 mg ciproflixacin tablets. Had extensive blood work done, couldn’t find anything except extremely low testosterone levels for my age group. Could cipro cause this?
Cindy,
Lyrica, gabapentin and the like have been shown to cause suicide , psychological problems, brain damage just to name a few.
Not to mention the toll it takes on the liver, etc.
I had such a horrific psychological reaction to levaquin when I first got floxed. ….I didn’t know who I was, couldn’t think, eat or sleep. I got lost trying to drive home in my own city!! I couldn’t handle my then 4 year old seeing me like this and wanted to end my life 🙁 luckily all those things resolved within a few weeks, but it was terrifying and would never even chance anything like that ever again:(
But, that’s just my opinion and personal experience. …

Hi Lukasz
Thank you for your reply re the podcast.
I have found out today that th amount of glutathione is pre determined genetically in some people.
I have had a terirble three days and as I type my somach is turning over at the horrific ordeal that I and others have been put thru by these poisonous drugs.
Dr Cohen sadly now deceased speaks about glutathione infusions being a way forwardd for us who have been foxed. Personally imho I feel that all antibiotics are dangerous or potentially dangerous depending on the genetic make up of the individual and their ghistory of medications especially antibiotics.
I live in the UK and I am still looking for a Naturopath who can provide glutathione infusions.
If anyone knows of such a person would you please let me know.
BTW I had some zinc a few days ago and have not felt well since. The tendonopathy is worsening , this is very depressing.
I would like to see those responsible put in jail for a long, long time.

Thank you for your kind words an wishes. It makes such a difference to be supported. On the subject of anxiety it is acknowledged that thyroid problems can send anxiety levels through the roof. I myelf have been through this only this evening. I was so anxious I felt that my chest would burst open. I nearly rang the out of hours drs.
I thought what has changed to mke me feel that way. I concluded as silly as it may sound that it was due to my diet.
I had introduced some sweet potatoes and red lentils into my diet 2 days ago. I felt ill the next day with increased neuropathic pains, increased stiffness, burning and throbbing of joints and muscles.
This increased the anxiety levels.
I e mailed a friend who has a lot of foodintoerances and guess what? She had an adverse reaction to sweet potatoes as well.
Anyway the same thing happned to my friend when she started to eat sweet potatoes.
So I am now keeping off the sweet potatoes. They are high in oxalates which cause deposits of calcium to be deposited in ones muscles. Sorry feeling tired now.

Hey everyone
I have been really struggling with the tinnitus hissing in my ears. I am a sound engineer and wanted to ask anyone who has had this symptom if things eventually get better. I am 7 months out and still the hissing and sound sensitivity persist.

Good Luck
