Guys I have been having countless nightmares and the anguish is unbearable. Everything that we fought against happened. This is in Canada the country that is supposed to be compassionate.

Here’s some encouraging news for everyone. If you haven’t read Erika’s recovery story on Floxie Hope recently, she posted an update on her condition sometime this month (May 2016) in which she says, “I feel I can now say that I am fully recovered. I am back to my normal if not better than normal exercise schedule. I feel stronger than I did before I was poisoned…” You can read the whole thing through the link below.
Has anyone had this poison attack a hip or knee replacement. Turned over in my sleep last night and excruciating pain around my hip (replacement). Has anyone experienced this before?
Well everyone,
It has been over 3 years floxed. I am not recovered but it has been a lot worse. Now I have developed a very rare auto immune disease as a result of my floxing via cipro and levaquin. It is called Adult Autoimmune Enteropathy. Have many trips to the Cleveland Clinic as a result. The Cipro sure put my immune system in hyperactive mode!
I hope everything is going well for all of you.
Great work Lisa!
My natural Path Doctor Morgan sends his greetings.

So today I get to beg my dr for a mitochondria test. I get to tell him how I can barely move try to get him to fill out paperwork and I think the way I feel I will have a mental break down in his office. I’m so tired. I’m so tired of paying what little money I have for Drs who can’t help me. I have to walk a 10min walk that takes me half an hour from the bus stop including breaks. All this to see a man who will say sooooo I think let’s run more blood. How about helping me and believing me and seeing that my feet are burning and I’m slowly loosing hope that I will get help and I will choke to death? How about that asshole. I’m just tired and my legs are burning so badly today. It will take me longer than half an hour to do the walk from the bus because of my legs. I am just losing hope the one thing that I used to have to make it through all of this. I’m losing my will to fight. I’m getting weaker. I’m losing this battle and no doctors are helping me no advocate will help me for free and by the time the fucking disability money comes who knows what state I will be in. I’m tired of doctors I’m just tired

Lisa: I am feeling so terrified because my doctor just called and said that my Cologuard test came back positive for colon cancer. Of course, they now recommend a colonoscopy which I don’t want to have because of the reasons we discussed. What should I do? I have no family at all; I feel so alone and afraid.

HI there,
Newly floxed and out of desperation started many supplements suggested by fellow floxies on this website. Doctors of course don’t believe me, and though I know most of you are not doctors, can anyone look at this list of supplements I’m taking and tell me if its safe? (at least for now to try and get myself back into good shape)? I hate the idea of putting more things into my body (I actually took a friend’s Cipro for a suspected UTI– so I’m really kicking myself for such a stupid decision). Taking these supplement pills with such intention everyday now is scary but it can’t be worse than this drug, right? Let me know if you see any bad things to mix or if this is just TOO many pills– what to cut out. Thank you so much everybody! Happy to have found this community.
Have you ever noticed that when you’re wrestling with a particular problem (opportunity for growth), additional insight seems to come out of the woodwork? Ready or not, the “opportunity for growth” presents itself.
The “opportunity” that came knocking for me concerned something that I had always taken for granted…. my health. A few years ago, after an emergency root canal, I began to experience a gradual deterioration in health. Pressure on the top of my head, headaches, weakness and dizziness followed. Within a couple of months, I started to experience unexplainable anxiety and depression, digestive problems, insomnia, aching joints and rashes that would come and go; as well as blood sugar and hormonal imbalances. The dentist I saw assured me that my problems were not a result of the root canal and were not related to my TMJ problem. My family practitioner ordered a CAT Scan, which appeared to be normal.
As the symptoms increased in duration and severity, I saw a series of family practitioners, dentists, internists and neurologists. Subsequent diagnoses ranged from possible MS, a virus, inner ear infection, pinched nerves in my back to sinusitis and lymes disease. The list of tests performed goes on almost as long as the bills that followed. I had x-rays, CAT Scans, MRI scans, a spinal tap, myelogram, echo cardiogram, EKG’s and multiple lymes tests, just to name a few. Everything from antibiotics and antidepressants to tranquilizers and painkillers were prescribed. Every new doctor had a different theory and a different “cure”.
Many months, specialists and dollars later, there was still no reasonable explanation for my condition. Since the doctors couldn’t put a label on my illness, they determined that it was “all in my head” and I was referred to a mental health clinic. In the meantime, my health continued to deteriorate. I lost 35 pounds and my job. I was too weak and dizzy to walk down the stairs in my own home let alone drive a car. Goal setting for the day included standing up long enough to take a shower and get dressed. Some days I was too dizzy to read or watch television. Food was not easily digested and seemed to go right through me. I felt “toxic”. Could the doctors be right in their diagnosis? I was feeling depressed, but it seemed natural to be depressed in light of what I was going through.
At the urging of my husband, I made an appointment with an alternative practitioner – a local chiropractor. The chiropractor was receptive to my intuition; that the onset of my problems coincided with the root canal. He felt that I may be sensitive to the materials used in the root canal and was also concerned with the extreme deviation in my jaw when I opened my mouth. He referred me to a holistic dentist specializing in the treatment of TMJ. A diet free of sugar, white flour, red meats and chemicals was recommended. Acupuncture, spinal adjustments and vitamin therapy were initiated. At last a ray of light in what seemed like the darkest time of my life.
Between my chiropractor and my dentist, more recommendations were made. I was referred to an allergist who specializes in environmental illness. There I learned that Candidiasis and multiple food and chemical sensitivities were contributing to my problems digesting food. Nystatin and homeopathy were prescribed together with further refinement of my diet. I was also referred to an MD for vitamin B injections. Subsequently, the tooth that required the root canal was removed and a splint was made to support my jaw. Massage therapy and prescribed exercises were crucial in regaining mobility and alleviating pain.
Signs of improvement were experienced as the gradual lessening of all symptoms occurred. Most of the every day experiences I had taken for granted prior to my illness were becoming profoundly enjoyable. I began reading everything I could find on alternative therapies. I was committed to regaining my health. Through my reading, I learned that a reoccurrence of symptoms could be expected as my body began to rid itself of toxins. Nevertheless, I was devastated when the symptoms returned.
Once again, I began to lose weight and strength. Friends and family who saw me (I must have looked as bad as I felt) urged me to quit seeing the “quacks” and return to the hospital (for more tests and drugs?). One of my old doctors even called me at home to tell me he was concerned with my decision to discontinue drug therapy (tranquilizers and anti-depressants). It was his feeling that I would not get well without them. By this time, doubt was beginning to cloud my efforts.
Fortunately, with the support of my husband, I followed my gut instinct that I was on the right path. What I was learning made so much sense to me; it felt right for me. I knew that if I continued to search, the right information would present itself. During a visit to my dentist, I was given the name of a woman who could tell me about a unique treatment for Candidiasis that might be helpful to me. The four-part program, developed by a pharmacist in Canada, includes Caproyl, Psyllium, Bentonite and Acidophilus. All ingredients are mixed with 8 ounces of water and used in the morning and evening. (See below for further explanation of ingredients)
Because of my multiple food sensitivities, and the overgrowth of Candida, (a vicious circle) I had a constant toxic feeling which was alleviated when I began the program. Food digestion gradually improved and the chemical sensitivities lessened. My path to wellness has certainly been a roller coaster ride, but well worth the effort! Whenever I felt stuck or stagnant, new information came forward to present itself. I continued with the Attogram products for just over two years and I still use the products as a maintenance program once or twice annually.
This treatment protocol, together with dietary and lifestyle changes, has allowed me to maintain a healthy balance for several years now. In retrospect, my illness was a gift, leading to a number of positive changes for my family and me.
Now it’s my turn to offer information and hope to others along the way…
Caproyl containing liquid caprylic acid (extracted from coconut oil) and oleic acids (in safflower oil), is the fungicidal component of the Attogram products. The caprylic acid in Caproyl has a coating action on the intestinal wall which tablets and capsules cannot match. Liquid Caproyl being dispersed in the Psyllium gel releases its caprylic acid throughout the entire length of the intestinal tract and is rubbed into the intestinal wall by the bulking action of the gel.
Psyllium powder is made from high grade Psyllium seeds and husks. This powdered product provides slippery adhesive bulk. Bulk is important to the colon system.
Bentonite is an adsorbent product that is considered beneficial to the natural functioning of the intestinal system. It is suggested for use as a Psyllium/Bentonite combination.
Acidophilus provides beneficial bacteria to help nutritionally maintain equilibrium in the intestinal tract. http://www.wholeapproach.com/

A great testimony I must share to all cancer patients in the world. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 primary liver cancer in
March 2013. The doctor told us there was not much to be done since the tumor was 7 inches covering his lower lobe and also had
spread to his lymph nodes. We decided to go home and called hospice which gave us morphine for pain. Ed hated the morphine which
made him vomit and also affected his mind. After one week at home we decided to do what we have done for many years, rely on
ourselves. We were only in Hospital for 3 days with severe Pain. The cancer had blocked his bile duct, after that we choose a
Naturopath doctor and have not had conventional treatments. one day i came across the use of cannabis oil for treatment of cancer
and i saw a post on how a cancer patient was cured with cannabis oil. I urgently needed help and i contacted the email :(phoenixtears47@gmail.com) to get the cannabis oil, i was given instructional guide on how to use it. After taking a gram
of oil per day. Within a couple of weeks his pain and swollen stomach disappeared and with it came hope and a good quality of
life. We never saw an ocologist and only have done a blood test after the first diagnose CT scan. His tumor marker went from over
6000 to normal and he is feeling well. We don’t know how this is going to play out, but enjoy every day and give thanks. As i am
writing this post, my husband is free from liver cancer and the doctor confirmed that the cancer was cured permanently. For
immediate assistance on every medical issue you and your family may be experiencing, contact Dr Rick via email: (phoenixtears47@gmail.com) for more information and the delivery process.

Well, I had a discouraging encounter today. I was at a charity event and started talking to woman I know who is a physician and extremely intelligent. She asked what I had been doing lately and I went through the whole Cipro toxicity thing. She said “you must be really sensitive to it,” to which I replied “me and hundreds of thousands, maybe millions other. It’s not that uncommon and I wouldn’t say it was because I was sensitive to it.” She said she was aware of problems with Cipro so she only puts people on it for three days. I told her it only takes ONE pill. Then she said “but I only give it to people who have taken it before with no problem.” I told her that was worse, because it is thought to be cumulative. I think she was not pleased with me at the end of the conversation. All I could think of was the recent warnings the FDA came out with. What good are they, if the doctors aren’t TOLD about them and how urgent it is? sigh.
i developed histamine intolerence from levaquin i can hardly eat anything without getting dizzy

Hi,
Posted here a few times, got floxed by Cipro 3 months ago, most symptoms now abating except for an increasingly red itchy face maybe caused by histamine intolerance???? Main areas of redness around the nose and cheeks and neck.
Couple of questions, should I be OK to take an anti-histamine and does the histamine intolerance typically fade with time as with the other symptoms or is it permanent.
As always thanks for any contributions!
Thanks,
K

So I am waiting now to go to a movement specialist I have learned that those are the neurologists who do all the tests regarding movement but you have to get through a general neurologist to get to them. I learned that I can choke cough and vomit all at the same time for 20 mins. I have to take another break from the site. Best to all won’t respond too weak.

Hi all,
I know many people have tried taking Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) to help aid in mitochondria recovery. It sounds like it could be helpful, but I can’t get past part of the name “Quinoline quinone” that it shares with fluoroquinolones that caused this. Does anyone have any insight as to why?
Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories and knowledge! Happy healing to all.
