I was given cipro for 20 days in February for suspected prostatitis which I didn’t even have. While on Cipro I was told to masturbate twice weekly so as to dispel the bacteria from the prostate. Well back in March one night I masturbated and felt severe pain and burning in my penis. Cipro actually irritated the nerves in the penis I now have peripheral neuropathy. I had severe abdominal pain one day and I was backed up. I went to the doctor and he gave me an oral laxative liquid (Fleet) to take to help with the constipation. Taking fleet gave me severe abdominal pain and cramping. I strained to move my bowels and I believe all that pressure on the bowel led to tissue tears in my pelvis particularly at the base of the shaft of the penis. My penis is very limp and it looks like the fascia under the foreskin and in the sdrotum has disintegrated. This doctor has ruined my life. I don’t know there’s any chance for me t recover.
My symptoms are:
-Hydrocoles
-testicular nerve pain
-penis nerve pain
-nerve pain in the rectum after bowel movements and when sitting.
-abdominal and lower back pain
-tinnitus
-due to the tissue rupture in pelvis my penis almost contracts into the pelvis when flaccid which causes pain and discomfort.

So I came across a video recently on tonsil stones. I was curious about what they are, so I decided to watch it. After viewing the video, I thought there would be no way that I’d have one due to my oral hygiene, but I decided to check anyway. I didn’t see one in my visual inspection, but after using a sterile object to lightly press on the tissues, one suddenly appeared and came out. I mention this because the tonsils are one of our bodies lines of defense, and we want them operating at peak condition. Therefore, it may be worth checking your own mouth to see if a stone is residing. Note: It did not hurt when the stone moved out. It’s like a blob of wet goo.
Have probiotics helped anyone? Heard alot about pill form, but also probiotic drinks such as Kefir…any feedback? What kind/how much/how often, etc…

Does anyone on here use maca powder? I get it occassionally in smoothies but I have read there is (naturally occurring) lead in the soil where it is grown. Just wondering if it is enough of a problem to avoid, because it has some real health benefits.

Have I been floxed?
2 weeks ago I was prescribed 21 days of levaquin. I stopped after I threw up 7 days in. I also had some other side effects like dry mouth, no appetite, leg cramps, fatigue and black stool. It’s been a week and I’m still dealing with some problems. My mouth is still really dry and the sides of my mouth feel kind of sore and numb. The ENT said I didn’t have oral thrush. Also I have noticed my knees cracking more than usual but it could all just be in my head.
Are these signs of being floxed? I have surgery coming up which requires general anesthesia and I’m not sure if levaquin toxicity will cause conflicts with that. Should I test my magnesium levels and take probiotics to be proactive?

Does anyone out there know of a dentist in the Wichita Kansas metropolitan area that I can see about the damage that has been done to my teeth (among other things) from Levaquin poisoning? Most dentists around here are big fluoride advocates, they keep trying to get us to allow fluoride in the water supply.

has anyone had anesthesia after being floxxed? I’d like to get some hardware removed from my ankle but afraid it may reactivate some CNS symptoms. I am 5 months out and still have some numbness and discomfort in my leg as well as some anxiety and depression. Thanks everyone.
Hello to all, firstly I hope and pray that everyone is doing the best that is Possible for each of you. I wanted to Share some excellent News on July 26, 2016 a Major News Station in the Tri-State Area ( NY NJ ) channel & Eyewitness News actually reported that ” THE FDA HAS PUT OUT WARNINGS TO DOCTORS THAT LEVEQUIN, CIPRO AVELOX all Fluroquoinolones , CAUSE MUSCLE, JOINT And NERVE DAMAGE That is Permanent ” I know this is a HUGH VICTORY FOR US ALL !!!!!! I have had a little set back in June, but I am forcing myself to get up and into the pool everyday, torn tendon heart valve regurgitation Neuropathy and all. This News was extremely important to us all, especially when Doctors KEEP SAYING, These Injuries are NOT RELATED TO THESE DRUGS> We Know Have The FDA Telling them that it IS……Levequin took away so much from me and so many of you, since 3/19/2007 I have been trying to claw my way out of this, I slept for almost three YEARS unable to lift my head or care enough to try harder, that was The Depersonalization part of these drugs. joanneg this is for you, thank you for talking about Colostrum, I started taking it 2/6/2016 and haven’t Stopped it truly helped me enough to where I was able to Function, it is slowly but certainly getting my digestive system back in order and my Brain is coming back, I’m remembering things easier and colostrum actually helps with the pain, it blocks pain transmitters to the brain. Lets rejoice in KNOWING THAT THE WORLD WILL NOW KNOW ABOUT WHAT THESE DRUGS DID TO US, I THANK GOD EVERYDAY FOR STILL BEING HERE, after SIX FLOXINGS. I PRAY FOR THOSE WHO PASSED ON, NOT EVEN KNOWING THE CAUSE, OR SEEING HOW FAR WE HAVE COME FIGHTING THE DECEPTIONS OF THESE DRUG COMPANIES DENIALS. To all who have gone through years months weeks or even one day of Suffering, We are on our way to Victory. THANK YOU TO LISA BLOOMQUEST FOR STARTING THIS PAGE, WITHOUT IT I HIGHLY DOUBT I WOULD BE HERE AT ALL> That’s how ill I was, Thank you Thank You Thank you All for the Sharing everything that has helped you, that helped me. Blessings and Health To You ALL.

The agency also cautioned that these bacteria-fighting drugs — including levofloxacin (Levaquin) and ciprofloxacin (Cipro) — shouldn’t be prescribed for sinusitis, chronic bronchitis or simple urinary tract infections unless no other treatments options exist.
Indeed fda created new stronger warnings, but … what about chronic
prostatitis where fq are prescribed large doses 4-6 weeks or even more weeks. What about other disases.
Fluoroquinolones should be used in ‘LIFE or DEATH’ situations only.
The battle is won but the war continues. We must continue to fight.
Thank you everyone involved (Lisa, floxiehope, floxed people speech
in fda office may 2016) and FDA added a new stronger black box warning .

Hi Lisa M,
I’m sooo glad you have been getting some good help from the colostrum.
I just wanted to encourage you to try the Immune Tree 6 colostrum, It works better for me than the Sovereign Labs.
Let me know if you do and if it works better for you.
I pray you continue to heal, and thank you for always coming back to the site and giving us your updates 🙂

For anyone suffering from mainly tendon/joint problems, I highly suggest looking into supplementing with manganese. Cipro has been shown to chelate manganese out of our system and dump it as waste. Manganese is a trace mineral that is crucial for collagen formation and one of the main symptoms of a deficiency and is weakened ligaments and tendons as well as a bevy of others. It also is responsible for detoxifying your mitochondria. I’m not sure why this hasn’t been brought up in more detail on this site but I think it could be a key factor in the tendon and joint damage that occurs, and how to fix it. Make sure to not take over 11mgs a day as that could lead to other problems. Happy healing.
Well it’s been 10 days and I’m just now experiencing some weird numbness in my elbows(nerve related). I’ve also noticed that my gums are pretty sensitive. I switched to a non-fluoride toothpaste which has decreased the numbness in my mouth. I went to the dentist and was treated with fluoride while taking levaquin(might have caused this all).
I’ve been floxed but also have a tumor that needs to be removed soon.
Will I be able to take chest x-rays for testing and go under anesthesia for the surgery?
SaltWorks 25 pound bag of Epsom salts $23.50 includes shipping, you can order larger bags at greater discounts, but that is all I can manage to drag through my house to my bath room closet. Epsom Salt = Magnesium Sulfate, leeches Toxins out and magnesium in. Great way to relax and feel a bit better 🙂

Hey Lisa M,
I tried posting this earlier, but it got lost in cyberspace. I apologize if it pops up later today as I’ve noticed that occasionally happens on this site.
Thanks for sharing a product you’ve found very helpful. I would point out to new floxies that although epsom salts do work well for some, they can also be very damaging to others. I believe the main group that needs to be careful are those with CBS gene mutations. They struggle with processing the sulfate properly and it creates more toxicity in their body. That’s why those with CBS mutations typically have problems with things like alpha lipoic acid, chlorella, spirulina, and glutathione. I learned that I had the gene mutation, and it makes since because I did an Epsom salt foot bath (one foot only) and felt worse afterwards. I’d recommend that all new floxies look into the 23andMe test before experimenting with too many things. I think Magnesium is great, but it’s probably best for new floxies to avoid the sulfate version of Magnesium. I like Magnesium L-Threonate the best.
has anyone had myclonic jerks? I have very mild action myoclonus. When I make a sudden movement, sometimes a feel a very slight twitch…sometimes I dont even make the twitch, its just an urge to twitch…like a mild rush of energy…very hard to explain…it is so slight that you wouldn’t even be able to tell if you were looking at me but it is enough for me to tell. I also have it in my sleep and it wakes me up sometimes. I am 5 months out. Very frightened that I will have this jolting in my body for the rest of my life…anyone else had this? It is not a muscle spasm, its neurological for sure.
