I came across a potential item for the floxie tool kit a few days ago that I thought I’d mention. So far I’ve never heard anyone on this website discuss probiotic body sprays as part of their treatment, and I’m curious about how they might improve one’s overall health considering the fact that FQ drugs seem to wipe out bacteria everywhere. There’s been a lot of focus here in the past on replacing lost gut bacteria with good probiotics, which is important, but not on replacing skin bacteria. Since we know the microbiome is extremely important to one’s health, it makes since to look into replacing the skin bacteria as well as the gut. Two probiotic skin sprays I’ve come across are Motherdirt and LiviaOne. Both might be beneficial in a floxies fight to regain health. Again, “might be” beneficial as no one can really say how each individual will respond to this type of treatment. I do want to point out that LiviaOne uses three different types of organic grasses in its formula, so if you have a grass allergy, that may not be the spray for you. Anyway, I thought this information was worth sharing, and I hope it helps someone in their fight.

I’m writing to give hope and advice to people who are going through this as there are many horror stories and not enough success stories. I took the last of 5 -1000mg Cipro tablets about 35 days ago. I am feeling much better than I was even 2 weeks ago, still not ready to run a marathon, but I wasn’t before I took the pills either. I can use stairs now slowly and carefully, and am back to driving my manual transmission car for short trips, but still have to avoid heavy traffic situations. I am a 33 yr old male and in retrospect I should not have taken the pills due to having prior arthritis and joint pain, however the damage has been done and all I can do is eat healthy and give my body what it needs to repair while avoiding loading my tendons with loads they can’t handle for now. At first I was taking a lot of magnesium (max dosage) and I was experiencing frequent muscle spasms in the Achilles and calves, this was very concerning, and I was unsure if it was the Mag or the Cipro, but I have been taking 1/3 that dosage and those muscle spasms are far less severe and about 80% less frequent, to almost non existent. I’m left with some weakness in the ankles and pain in the heels, but it’s getting better as the days and weeks go by. I am eating well, avoiding processed junk, dairy and wheat and trying to get my vitimins via quality food healthy and natural food instead of supplements . Once you get over the anger and realise that you can’t sue the drug maker or doctor, you have to start accepting this as if it were a sports injury or car accident; you will have to take time off your favourite activities, and maybe even work. Mentally, physically, and financially this will be hard but you will learn to respect your body and your health and have the potential to come out stronger in the end. I do blame myself for not thoroughly looking the drug up because I was busy at the time, and because there is at this time a ton of literature on the web both credible and anecdotal. Yes these drugs should be used way more judiciously by doctors, but this is a messed up world we live in where we have to look out for ourselves and stop trusting authoritative figures. Watch the Stanley Milgram Experiment and learn to question everything that an authoritative figure (such as a doctor) tells you. Good Luck with your recoveries, and spread the word about these drugs every chance you get, as awareness is the only thing that will prevent this from occurring to others until the slow moving governments place heavier restrictions on these drugs.

I have just had my 4th ozone autohemotherapy, 8 more to go, but the difference in how I feel is phenominal. I feel like for the first time in two years and trying nearly everything, that I am getting my life back. The PN is decreasing, my brain feels like it’s had a spring clean, my energy levels have shot back up. Dont forget guys I am 73 years young, at the moment I feel 10 years younger.
It’s still early days but I am really starting to believe this is the therapy thats going to do it for me.
I would encourage you all to thoroughly research this for yourselves. I have been taking the course of vits and minerals with some of my own (through research) added in ie; mitoq, NT factor lipids, I have no idea if these helped or not, because I don’t know if I hadn’t taken them what I would have been like. The difference with ozone autohemotherapy is I can feel the difference and I feel more NORMAL generally.
The vits and minerals have probably made me a lot healthier, along with diet change, so I am a very healthy floxie, but they did not stop my PN pain, or brain fog or fatique. The ozone has.
The only thing is from the begining of the ozone therapy, the first night after treatment causes a bit of PN pain, which is probably the herx or detox effect. The next day following the treatment it goes, and for the rest of the week I have felt good.
Yesterday I had my 4th one and this time I havn’t had any PN pain, but after going to the loo in the middle of the night, I couldn’t get back to sleep, but for me that’s a small price to pay for the huge benefits that I’ve had
My husband and friends have all told me they can see a big difference in me, which confirms what I feel.
Just to remind you all, ozone therapy is the first line of health in Cuba and Russia, also generally in Germany, Switzerland. It’s used in Brazil, Spain and the Uk and the US and many other countries, so if you see any negative reports about it (rare) it’s generally from Doctors who have not done any research on it and are in league with big pharma who can’t patent it.
The medical Doctors that use it are appalled at the Doctors that try to discredit it as it has a multitude of health benefits. I always think it’s a bit rich for uninformed Doctors to do this as they are the ones who poisoned us and are still doing so around the world daily.
I hope this can be of help to all my floxie friends, and that you will research this for yourselves. In the meantime I will keep you posted of my progress.
Love to you all,
Barbara

I do not blame myself for being floxed!! I have read a lot of people saying they blame them selves and I just need to say it’s none of our faults. It’s the medical industries fault. Until the people around the world say enough is enough and fight this messed up industry nothing will change. I fight every day I tell people wht happened to me I spread awareness on social media and am always trying to get attention to what is happening. To blame yourself is allowing this industry to silence your voice your spirit and continue to do this to more people more children. Rant over.

All the world will be floxed, poisoned now. Plants, animals, Earth is dying slowly because of this. Herbicydes will be inside our bodies sooner or later.

Make it a point to maximize your MnSOD and Glutathione levels. Cipro has been shown to drastically reduce both of these. It has been shown that Cipro majorly reduces Manganese in the body. I believe it is crucial to supplement with this (but don’t take too much, the recommended max per day is 11mgs..I take 15) I think this is even more important than magnesium. Without MnSOD, your body breaks down everywhere, especially connective tissue. One of the major symptoms of manganese deficiency is weak tendons and ligaments. Sound familiar?
Increase your Glutathione levels with undenatured whey protein, sulfur-rich foods, milk thistle, Methylation nutrients like vitamins b6 and b12, and finally Vit C and E. MnSOD and Glutathione work together to keep you in optimal health. And if you have neither one of these, well, you know what happens first hand. I believe this is the most important thing you can do along with getting your gut flora back in order.
Happy healing.

I had a live blood test today that showed I have leaky gut and a candida overgrowth due to cipro
I urge anyone on this journey to get this checked straight away as you will never recover with malabsorption
Antibiotics are the 1st cause of leaky gut in the world ,cipro is like napalm to the gut

I am new to posting comments here but have been following this site for over a year. My husband was floxed over a year ago and he has gone thru pure hell. One of these days I will post his storyas he just turned 71 years off age. Anyway the reason right now that I am responding is that I just heard that Hillary Clinton was treated with Levequin. If this is the case we will all have to hope that she does not have the problems many others have had. Can someone check up one this keep an eye on it??

I’m wondering if anyone has new ideas/suggestions to deal with hair loss from Levaquin? I’ve posted it before, but thought couldn’t hurt to repost & maybe get new ideas. My hair has been falling out since before I was ill last year and also during all the meds.
It stopped for a bit- not long enough to get a chance to regrow- then started again after Levaquin in May. Docs are useless at this point. Vitamin c? Probiotics? Or any natural ideas to help? Anything that helped others?

Intresting info about Hilary.
Now she is taking levoxa, side effects are pending…
Probably if she will be poisoned, maybe she advocate us,
maybe fq poison will be removed from the market.
Hilary fq poisoned – all world will know how dangerous this drug is.
Floxxed about 3 months ago after 7x500mg of Cipro. I’m about 80% recovered after having depression, weakness, dizziness, neuropathies on hands/feet, Achilles tendon pain and migraines. I still have symptoms including mild chest pain. Things I learned about FQ toxicity:
1. FQ toxicity affects mitochondria function (specifically mDNA), which in turn causes more oxidation and continues to degenerate the mitochondria until it causes death or mutations in its DNA. In theory, antioxidants work to mitigate this damage. I took: NAC, PQQ, CQ10 and multivatamins and felt better.
2. Traditional MDs don’t understand or know about the CNS effects of FQ. Even if they do, they don’t have the tools, tests or methods for treatment. If you can, go see a functional medical doctor. I saw a functional MD who understood the impact of FQ on mitochondria function. She ordered tests to see how this drug is affecting my cells. I’m awaiting results so she can create a treatment plan based on supplementation.
3. The worst thing you can do is to stop and give in to this toxicity. Don’t stop doing your daily activities. You will need to modify them, but please continue to work, exercise, spend time with family etc. The more you do, the less you will focus on feeling sick.
4.Recovery is slow. Your body has been severely impacted by toxins. You will have setbacks and times of regression as the body heals. Progress is often non-linear.
Lastly, this experience has taught me about the fragility of life. Sometimes, we need to be reminded of this to appreciate the time we have left. I now focus on improving my health and spending time on meaningful activities.
If I can be of any help, feel free to reply.

hi all! just wondering if any of you get swollen ankles especially after walking or standing too long? both my achilles hurts and sometimes pops while walking, and i’m attributing this to my being floxed but i don’t know what else to do about it. i notice the swelling is more predominant on my left ankle. my doctor says it’s due to gravity, but i’ve never had this problem before i was floxed. my legs feel so tight, too, at times.
many thanks in advance!

The dermatologist sugggested chemical shampoo- no to that– But also stated I should take Biotin Forte. My vitamin D is low, too. I’m desperate and ready to try taking some of these, but scared. Can anyone give insight on this? Are these supplements worth a try? I don’t know what else to do about my hair, the derm really tried to blame it all on stress. However, I know meds are the cause. Any ideas? Getting desperate 🙁
