I’ve had one answer so far from the Health journalist Jo Waters Daily Mail who says she will write an artical soon. So anyone who wants to send her your story please do.

Andrea had you experienced what I did I think you would feel the same. You have no idea what it is like to be asphyxiated by everything in the world. To no be able to breathe without feeling like you are inhaling vats of bleach each time. What it is like to struggle for every breath and feel like you are being suffocated for months. To suddenly lose most people f your vision to sherri you can’t see more that a couple feet and everything is covered with hundreds of little black dots and huge opaque floaters that are like looking through gauze. To lose a fourth of your body weight and need help walking. To be covered in rashes. To have anxiety to where you are frozen, unable to move over and over fir more than a year. To pray for death for most of a year. Yeah. I DO think these are a crime against humanity esp since they have KNOWN for decades and done nothing I cannnot imagine going through anything more terrifying, more hideous. So sorry but yeah. This is a f*ucking crime against humanity. And now I think I need a break from this site. Thanks for the support.

Not taking any sides, but sometimes the FACTS are not listened to with the sofly lets all be pleasant approach. Sometimes it has to be said like it really is, and yes in my opinion it is a crime against humanity and they have gotten away with it for to long and are still getting away with it. I think both approaches are valid and we are all entitled to say it like it is in our own way. A measured response is great and some of us are very good at that, others react in a more passionate way, I include myself in this. L has suffered what no human being should have suffered and it’s completely understandable for her to feel so strongly. She has every right to say it like she feels. It’s also good that Bettan and others can balance out our feelings in a different way. They also have the right to say it their way. We are not here to please the EMA, journalists or anyone else. We honestly don’t know what will get us publicity,
Sensational headline’s ie..A crime against humanity, or Fluroquinolones are poison, or A bad reaction to fluroquinolone antibiocticts etc
We are all doing the best we can, so lets stick together on this and support each other along the way.
Come on back L missing you already xx

Jane Allen who was at the hearing has just described it as ‘ It’s a crime against humanity,’ on facebook, on fluroquinolone toxicity in Europe. Our system here is different than the US but our suffering is not. It is still being prescribed in the US despite TWO black box warnings, so obviously it’s not working. We have to be different. The EMA as I understand it makes recommendation to the governing bodie’s in each European Country. Ours in the UK is N.I.C.E No drug gets approved without them.

Correction…(floxy brain) I have just been told it’s the MHRA that the EMA gives their recommendations to not N.I.C.E Each Country has their own, it’s on the EMA website.

L,
I’d like to respond to you, but I feel like everything I’d say right now, would be just misinterpreted. Anyway, trust me, I didn’t want to offend you or underestimate your struggle. Just understand that I wrote what I wrote, because I think that was the best way to act if we want to see some changes in the near future. Maybe I’m wrong. But this is just my opinion. Please, keep posting on this website. Nobody is antagonizing you.

Andrea, You asked me about septocaine. Thank you for recognising me!
Yes, it was an immediate severe reaction upon injection that hasn’t gone away for many, many years. It really resembles brain damage, in addition to all the terrible floxing symptoms I already had. I didn’t know it could get that much worse!
I thought it was because I was heavily overdosed with both cipro and septocaine by doctors who were racist and aggressive. But so many people wrote me on this forum and elsewhere that they also had bad relapses from septocaine.
My theory is it’s not a good idea to “cross the blood brain barrier.”

Dee, So many people wrote me with similar experiences. So it’s all over the place.
No anaesthesia was much easier and less painful for me. Much less painful than shoulder tearing, knees, hips, fingers etc etc etc etccccc

Andrea, yes, you were able to understand me perfectly. In the 1920s when penicillin was discovered, medicine changed dramatically.
But would you ask them about an otitis externa?
I am desperately seeking assistance and advice as I cannot bring myself to administer ofloxacin into a little one’s ear. This is such a horrible situation! What if I make the wrong choice? I cannot give a dangerous medication, but I also cannot let it get worse.
For myself I would use garlic oil, etc, but I am at a loss for someone else.

Hey Daniela, of course I can’t give you any prescription. I can’t and I don’t want to. But if you’re asking me to tell you a general advice, I think I can do that. Anyway, I don’t know if it’s completely true or not, but I remember reading an article that said in the UK the only cases you can treat a toddler with a FQ are Anthrax infecion and plague. Not sure of the source anyway, but if it’s true you can judge by yourself…But let me understand it better, did your child already took a fq?
PS my mother is a pediatrician.

Sorry not prescription, I meant cure, diagnosis or anything else. I can just ask my mother what she would do. then you can spoke to your doctor about it.

All right Daniela.
This is NOT a prescription, nor a cure I’m giving you or anything like that. I’m just reporting to you the opinion of a pediatrician who didn’t visit the child.
Anyway, she says that, in case of an outer infection, which, if not treated correclty, could degenerate in something more serious, the first treatment most pediatricians (at least here in Italy) reccomend is Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid. Here in Italy the commercial name is Augmentin. I repeat. I’M NOT TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO. I’m just reporting some opinion/facts. I suggest you to talk to your doctor about it, anyway. And, whatever your decision is, READ everything you can about what you’re going to give to your child.
PS I asked about natural treatment. She knew nothing about it.
Please keep me updated.
