I dont go out a whole lot but i am able to drive and grocery shop and yesterday i went and bought a dress. My weight is slowly coming back. Id gotten down to 118 (from 170 ) Im at around 131 now. I believe the only yhing that helped me there was eating sauerkraut several times a day. Probiotics or enzymes didnt help me. I started gaining ince i vot on the sauerkraut. Its nit coming back as fast as it did when i originally got floxed in 2010 but i expect mynpoor gut was screaming ” not again” So ive had to work at it this time as im also.much more food sensitive than last time but thats getting a little better.
my hair has finally stopped falling out.I lozt at least half and whats left looks like i stuck my finger in a light socket but its stopped. Thats all that matters. It will grow back in 🙂
I still have tingling all over. Im waiting on my ancient minerals mag as per Rene. Thanks Rene! !. Hoping thst helps with the tingling a d my skin. My skin has gotten slightly better. Another dentist who says he never heard of using benadryl for anesthesia, only if you have an allergic reaction. I may have to study dentistry myself.
I blended veggies with sardines and garlic, wasn’t too bad.

Got a question for Lisa and any long time survivors. I’m suffering a lot of tendon and joint issues, especially in lower legs but other places as well. My joints were already not great but now I have joints cracking all over the place and places that never use to crack before
– Do other people with these issues actually recover and play sports again? Does the damage actually heal or do you think some is permanent to joints and tendons?
– Is it normal to have these painless shooting tremors shoot down my legs all the time? (seem worse at night, congruent with fluoride poisoning)
– How often to relapses typically happen to the majority of people?
I know the answers for these very wildly (esp 3rd one) and are dependent a ton of variables like how bad person was at start, how much they took, eating habits etc, but I am just looking for a little general insight (and hopefully, hope!) into what to expect here. Its only been about 3 – 4 weeks or so for me so I’m newly floxed here, and feel lucky so far after reading a bunch of the stories and see some of the comments. I can normally for the most part, but after a while like today my legs are sore near ankles. I exercised twice carefully and cautiously also, but one time my tendon got quite sore and the next time I paid a price of continuing symptoms for days after.
Thanks for any insight here.
p.s Rene, Mag flakes on the way thx

Ah, that should say “walk normally” above.
I went back to the Pharmacy today who gave me this poison, and got a copy of what comes with the Avelox and found out we don’t have any kind of “Black Box” warnings up here in Canada, which is utter madness and ridiculous. I will be having a long, nasty chat with Health Canada.

3 months ago had kidney stone. I blamed it on CIPRO…official adverse reactions clearly states Renal Calculi…10 days ago had severe abdominal pain…ER and was diagnosed with acute Cholecystitis; had urgent surgery. Told them if I never wake up from surgery let me die, but don’t give me Fluoroquinolones. Ever since being floxed three years ago, I had change in my bowel character, consistency and color… I wouldn’t be surprised if the gallstones are a byproduct of the dry syndrome we experience. Recovering well. Nevertheless, one week prior to the surgery, I was having relapse of my night sweats and I knew at that point the immune system was acting up again and would have either exacerbation of present aches and pains or new ones will manifest. Lo and behold, I have tendonitis in my eyes—slight ocular muscle movements trigger pain.

I was recently floxed a month ago I don’t recall ever taking cipro in the past however when I gave birth to my son while in the hospital they started me on iv antibiotics for an suspected infection now as the symptoms are surfacing I vaguely remember feeling Exactly like this after being released from the hospital I now wonder if the meds they were giving me cipro. I’m sure I’m in for a Hell of a ride but thankfully this site give me hope. I won’t list my symptoms because it’s much the same as most of you and I appreciate the uplifting purpose of this site so I don’t want to bring down any spirits with my sob story. Just wanted to add as I see it hasn’t been mentioned. The spice turmeric detox the pineal gland of fluoride. I must admit since starting it I have been able to sleep soundly and even have began dreaming again as I haven’t had a dream in the month since being floxed. It’s worth the research I feel much more relaxed since being able to get sleep.
Hey, ya’ll. I just saw this website on-line. http://www.myquinstory.info/what-helps/ It has a lot of good info of what to tell your drs. after being floxed, etc.

Gin soaked raisins — 1 teaspoon (about 9) soaked in juniper derived gin (check the brand) for knees, hips and tendons.
Perhaps one of the Brits can chime in?

I just talked to friend, who (she ) took over 500 (yes, five hundred) pills of quinolones. She ruptured her tendon last year during mild level sport. Also she has sth called ” fibred muscle”. She also had neuropathy and lots of nightmares when she was taking the quinolones.
She is probably the one who is most able to tolerate quilonones that I ever know in person.
I just told her about quinolone toxicity. After reading, she told me her problem might be related to quinolones.
Everyone is different. But it looks to be very sure that everyone will be affected by quinolones once he or she has taken much enough.
And people have different threshold of tolerance. And people recover in different speeds. And it looks possible for some people to recover and to tolerate quinolones again ( to some threshold, of course, and the threshold may be reduced by previous quinolones )
Well I just came back from dentist. Good news is no problems as far as dentist could tell.just have to go in next week for a cleaning. Bad news is, I was having an awesome week last week, much less leg and feet pain. Then yesterday I walked only a half mile on tread mill…and today everything hurts again: ( all this is so frustrating!! I feel like I’m back to where I was one month ago….

Hi Fellow Floxies. I found what looks like a VERY important new supplement (Oh god I know, and you don’t want to know how many I am taking or $$ spent…)
tmg (betaine anhydrous) is a chemical that occurs naturally in the body, and can also be found in foods such as beets, spinach, cereals, seafood, and wine. Betaine anhydrous is also used for treating high blood homocysteine levels, liver disease, depression, osteoarthritis, congestive heart failure (CHF), and obesity; for boosting the immune system; and for improving athletic performance. It is also used for preventing noncancerous tumors in the colon (colorectal adenomas).
TMG (Trimethylglycine) is known to facilitate methylation processes. Methylation is a normal biological process that is critical for DNA repair, liver detoxification mechanisms, lipid metabolism, and the production of SAMe. It is also an important step in the conversion of homocysteine, a damaging amino acid, into a more friendly amino acid, methionine.
=============
To sum up all 4 links for you – It occurs naturally in the body and is good for: Possible DNA repair, Liver support and detox, formation of collagen, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, Metal detoxing, alleviating depression, energy booster, lipid metabolism, methyl donor, speech and behavior in autistic children and adults, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), improve neurological function, reduce seizure activity, handle stress, improves oxygen utilization, optimize athletic performance, improve immune response, shrink tumors, and to enhance anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-tumor defenses. It has also been shown to benefit chronic fatigue syndrome, allergies, respiratory disorders, alcoholism, and drug addiction. In addition, it appears to help reduce serum cholesterol and triglycerides, and to help normalize blood pressure and blood glucose, it also helps restore balance to the autonomic nervous system. Its also used for osteoarthritis, congestive heart failure (CHF), and obesity; In short, it is quite amazing.

Every time I go to get a drink of water, tea etc and have to drink costly bottled water, I get so infuriated about how flouride is added to our water without consent. Why should we have to pay, in so many ways, because they are afraid to own up to a mistake they made 50 yrs ago by saying we need it for dental health???? I have researched flouride removal systems, pitchers, etc and it is so expensive. Plus I’m paying for water I can’t drink! So many people have tried to get this changed and it just is mind blowing how they won’t despite knowing it is toxic and unnecessary. If professionals/experts in their fields can’t change it, how do we stand a chance? Ugh!!
