Could you please re send the link to the in depth investigation into fluroquinolone toxicity please.
Which pharmaceutical Companies manufacture this antibiotic that is known to be so toxic?

Lucy my heart goes out to you,
our bodies do not have the same capacity to function as before. But they have an amazing ability to recover and heal. I remember when i got floxed, i used to freak out at every little thing no matter how small it was and that is normal. You mentioned stress and that can have an effect on our body as well.
You live in the UK and that is where allimax was invented, look into allimax for the cystitis. I don´t know how far you are into your recovery, but there are relapses and they come in cycles. The good thing is that as we move on they become less frequent and diminish in size.
I usually put garlic in my food to help me fight off invaders, it is natural and has no side effects if taken in small doses daily. Our foods are our biggest ally in this challenge. Time is on our side.
The amount of fluoride in the water would be minimal if it did contain it, and since you only took a sip it would not seem to me like a big problem.
In essence our main issue came upon with the quins themselves, quins do some serious disruption to our metabolism. But as i mentioned we have the capacity to recover in time.
Acidosis is not listed as a side effect for Vitamin D.
In my opinion stress may be the strongest factor, our body¨s circulatory systems takes the biggest blow, it all starts there. It is one of the reasons why i focused on vasodilator foods when i got floxed. Onions, garlic, etc. are great for circulation and they can help ease some of our symptoms. I generally did not eat salt since salt is an inflammatory agent.
For headaches my natural remedy was gently massaging my neck while relaxing on my bed and doing deep breathing. To get oxygen into my tissues.
Water is very important to get toxins out and keep a good ph.
You will get better soon lucy, you are going through a hurdle but you are a very determined lady and that is your biggest strength!
We will be with you in your journey, you are not alone. You are in our prayers.
I AM SO SORRY FOR WHAT YOU ARE EXPERINCING AND GOING THROUG! WE all know how hard all this can be at times. How hard it is to keep ourselves motivated each day to keep going. BELIEVE ME , BELIEVE US YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS. YOU ARE STRONG! EVEN when at times might seem impossible you will get through this! Cycles are common and are part of the healing process. Something that we wish wouldn’t happened but they will. The thought scares me too that why I am working on making my body stronger and healthier before it happens. YOU WILL GET BETTER! I PROMISE! YOU WILL MAKE IT! YOU ARE SURVIVOR JUST LIKE EVERYONE HERE! Hold on to the thought that this all shall pass and you will come out stronger than ever. Hold on to a higher being, GOD! HE SHALL NOT LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKEN YOU, NEVER! AND I AGREE WITH EVERTHING JASON SAID. 🙂 and yes very good comment MSL!
ONE THING please don’t eat anything that can put more burden in your body. Your body needs all the help we can give it. I WILL NOT PUT SUGAR, TEAS, BREADS, PASTAS, SODAS, SALT, JUICES NOT EVEN NATURAL, CHOCOLATE, COFFEE, CAFFEINE, CANDY, SEASONING IN MY BODY!!! NOT YET!! I CANT AND I WONT! I NEED TO HEAL BETTER AND RESOLVE MY GUT ISSUES BEFORE EVEN THINKING ABOUT PUTTING ANYTHING IN MY BODY. DRINK ALOT OF WATER IT WILL HELP FLUSH OUT TOXINS. I drink 3L of water a day. Remember this, I and everyone here, Jason, Linda, Steph, Lisa, MSL, Daniela and everyone else have gone through this pains, anxieties, worries, panics, despair, and so many more things. But we are here, we are SURVIVORS!! WE WILL MAKE IT, WE WILL BE STRONGER, WE WILL BE HAPPY EVEN IF IT SEEMS DIFFERENT RIGHT NOW!

I want to add this Lucy hopefully it can help you. This is what my online nurse Kerri told me when I took 10,000UI of vitamin D. I am too very deficient in D.
“It sounds like you are still low on magnesium, and that is why you are feeling so strangely, especially after the vitamin D. I recommend smaller doses of vitamin d and higher doses of magnesium for a couple of weeks, then slowly you can increase your vitamin d.
This is common when someone is very magnesium deficient and very vitamin D deficient. So, that may be a big part of your problems and once you start solving all of these nutrient deficiencies, you’ll begin to feel much better, I think. ” I took the 10,000UI of Vitamin D and felt sick I mentioned it to my doctor and he reduced the dose to 2,000UI per day. I am taking the 2,000UI still and will continue for a couple of weeks but will not increase the dose until my body get fill w more magnesium.
REMEMBER THIS LUCY WE LOVE YOU AND WE ARE HERE FOR EACH OTHER! STRAY STRONG, BE STRONG, WE ARE SURVIVORS! THIS SHALL PASS. WE WILL MAKE IT THROUGH!
A million blessings and another million of warm hugs your way,
Lucero and everyone else here.

I was told that I should eat the fatty parts of my chicken, and other meats., because it is good for me. Because of her profession, I thought she was probably accurate. When I recently had a blood test, my cholesterol was over 350!! This is dangerous! Please don’t let someone talk you into believing that fats are totally healthy for you to have with all your meals! Now I need to have just a small amount of fats each day to bring my cholesterol down. Take care!

There is too much good stuff there to quote, please see article
I don’t remember your conflicted diet, very sorry if this adds to it but hopeful it might help
I have been researching Sulfites, which are toxic, as I have reactions from eggs, raw Garlic etc and I am pretty sure I have the CBS and/or SUOX Gene Mutation, so I need to address this ASAP today was an awful day for me. 🙁
It doesn’t help that I am pretty sure I have the COMT either, which means my body has trouble shutting off Adrenaline, which a test confirmed back in July for me, so I need to figure this out too its been a problem my whole life.
The more I learn about Genes, the more I realize they are the “root cause” of many of the problems people have, other than what goes in their mouth of course.
I could swear I just read another article with similar info mentioning mucus too but can’t find the dang thing now

Hey guys does anyone know if you can have permanent brain damage from this crap? I went to the grocery store with my boyfriend and I was so confused in the store I kept telling my self where I was. When I could I would just grab onto my boyfriend because it makes me feel safe when we are out and I get confused or don’t know where I am. I just feel like he keeps me safe.
I just get scared that I have developed brain damage. I seriously have days where my whole brain is on fire. No one can tell me why. My boyfriend says that I get a blank look on my face. Does anyone else have this?

Question. I have learned that chlorine is not good for asthma, and someone in the documentary TRuth about Cancer also mentioned chlorine with environmental toxins. I am curious though if anyone here has swum (swam…swimmed?) in a pool since being floxed and if there was any reaction?

I found some an interesting article on zinc, melatonin and magnesium for insomnia. It seems that if you take the zinc at night it helps with sleep issues.
Question—has anyone successfully gotten disability? I looked at the information that they want and all I can think is “how do you prove flq toxicity?” It asks for doctors you have seen, and I know every MD will say “nope—couldn’t be the Cipro.” And since it is under the social security administration, that does not pay benefits for natural treatments, I doubt they would accept the diagnosis of an ND. So, anyone have any luck?

20. SSDI does not recognize Cipro poisoning as a diagnosis, so you will have to fight tooth and nail to obtain any disability benefits once you’ve become crippled. The very government that allows this poison to be handed out like candy then turns around and tries to prevent you from collecting disability benefits once you’ve fallen victim to it! -quote. http://www.ciproispoison.com/

It´s very important to be aware of who we are dealing with (big pharma and their cronies). I try to be positive and give people hope, but at the same time i have investigated the dark side of this problem and it important for people to know some things.
I do a lot of surfing on the net, mostly investigative stuff. The length of what the Medical industrial complex goes to eliminate their competition is quite serious.
In florida there have been a series of strange passing aways of ND´s. perfectly normal healthy individuals who all of a sudden have met a strange end.
Katy Whelan, health reporter at The Common Sense Show, wrote earlier this week, “Death is part of life. It happens everyday, everywhere, in every manner. Multiple deaths of people associated with the same line of work is generally not enough to raise alarm bells in my book. When you see cluster deaths in high level professions or those in a field of work that bucks the system, challenge the status quo or threaten the fat cats of billion dollar corporations, then you may want to sit up and take notice.-quote
On a more positive note, i am recovering from my triple whammy! (sciatica, hernia and meralgia paresthetica all at the same time!) As i mentioned in my first posts, ( i am 5 years from my floxing, recovered most of it 2 years ago) i came down with sciatica on my right hip 7 weeks ago, two weeks later i got a hernia on my left lumbar region ( i have grade one spondylothesis, my 4th lumbar vertebrae is sticking out a bit), the hernia got me bedridden with agonizing pain. two weeks later i got the meralgia!
Since my floxing i refuse to take any type of synthetic drug, which made my suffering pain an indescribable agony. I had treated myself to an array of supplements, mostly magnesium citrate, vitamin c, collagen, b5, coconut oil. I went on a drastic lose weight diet to get the extra weight off. i massaged my leg and thigh 24/7 to ease the pain. I immediately went on my floxie diet as well, mostly avocado with corn tortillas and some octopus.
I rarely could sleep at night from the pain, eventually i read about hemp oil for pain and inflammation and ordered some from a lady near me. Since the oil had not arrived i went to an acupuncture session, the doctor made me over exert myself by walking and my femoral never got inflammated, i was bedridden again.
Tha is when i decided to buy some tramadol in drops, i figured i would take one drop and watch for the reaction, i took one drop and it took off the edge but the the pain was still there. two hours later not being able to sleep from the pain i took another drop and slept for about three hours exhausted from the pain. in the morning i awoke with a little rash on my arm, i knew it was the tramadol. i have not used it again. Two days later the hemp oil arrived and it eased the pain with no side effects, the hemp oil actually is a fantastic nutritional supplement as well.
Last week i began to walk again and decided to go back to work this week. I work part time so i knew that i could probably manage, most of the inflammation is gone, i still have some electric shock in my femoral nerve but i manage it, it is painful but not extreme like it was before. I hoping that by next week it will be mostly gone.
Last night i read about zinc for sleep and i bought some, i took about fifteen mg along with about 200 mg of magnesium citrate and 5 mg of melatonin, i take a sip of hemp oil before going to bed also. I slept about 6 hours straight which for me was a miracle!
My diet has been mostly octopus and chicken with veggies, i ate meat a couple of times and had nightmares, i´m a very spiritual person and meat simply does not agree with me. I have my theories about it but they are esoteric.
I thank god i am recovering, the ordeal was simply beyond extreme. If sciatica is bad enough imagine it three times worse on a pain level, most nights i cried screaming in pain eventually to go to sleep exhausted from the agony.
I had not wanted to share this experience out of the discomfort that it might have caused to anyone reading it. I am sharing it now to send you a message of hope, a message of healing and knowing that we heal eventually.
I also pray for all those who are recovering and send my thoughts of healing.
When we are at our lowest moment is when we need each other the most, and it is one of my convictions to be there for anyone who needs any type of comforting words or help to ease their challenge.

I live in Mexico, i studied high school in the u.s. I live on the pacific coast, the octopus is brought fresh everyday from the gulf of mexico. I like it because it is very tasty, it has that deep sea taste without having to add condiment or salt.
On another note, i´m looking into getting some prolozone injections for my lower back but i believe that they inject numbing agent first to dull out the area.
My question is this, how safe is novocaine/lidocaine for floxies?

Does anyone have trouble getting their friends/ family members to acknowledge our suffering is caused from fq’s??
Most all my family is very “educated” yet so ignorant in believing that my pain, fears about this reaction, are “psychosomatic” and I’d benefit from seeing a therapist?!!! Its bad enough we are shunned from the medical community, but then to have your friends/ family think your crazy is so profoundly hurtful! 🙁 Nobody believes I’m suffering in any way, just because I look and function just the same as I always have, but only on the outside…..
Anyhow….we will all make it through somehow. Sending my healing wishes to all of you 🙂

All my blood work and urine work just came back from my doctor. Everything seems to be in the standard range which is a bit of a relief. Only a couple things seem to be off, mainly being Vitamin D insufficient. 30 – 100 ng/mL is the standard range and I’m 24 ng/ml. My calcium levels are a bit high as well. Should I start on a good Vitamin D supplement? Can anyone recommend one?

Calcium and magnesium work together, most doctors are unaware of that. For example doctors prescribe calcium for osteoporosis and yet the u.s. consumes one of the worlds´ highest amount of dairy products which have calcium, and yet the osteoporosis is still high, why? because people are magnesium deficient.
Getting out in the sun is a good way to make Vitamin D, another good source of D is fish oil. I have seen some krill oil supplements which seem to be a good option as well.
What i do is search the net for reviews from people who have tried the supplements and see what they have said.

Share your recipes,
this week i made chicken soup with veggies and cabbage. I really like cabbage a lot. The shrimp season started in late september so we have a lot of fresh bay area shrimp. I never eat seafood from the supermarket, since i live 20 minutes from the sea, we have fresh seafood all year round. The shrimp season lasts about three months then it´s all gone, except for the farmed shrimp, which i don´t really go for.
Today i put some shrimp with some cabbage and mixed it with the chicken and veggie broth, it was quite good, but then again i´m getting my appetite back after almost two months of eating very light meals. Due to my injuries. I have a bad back and have to be completely thin.
I usually drink some apple juice mixed with water, i add vitamin c powder, magnesium citrate powder and magnesium chloride liquid ( about a spoonful) to my drink.
This would be my only real meal of the day since i don´t eat dinner, for bedtime i drink a half cup of hot milk with two big cloves of garlic mixed into it.
