Join fluoroquinoline toxicity 24/7 live chat group to get a lot more info. Very few floxies get on this site anymore. Some floxies recover fully and some take a lot of time with ongoing problems. This recovery takes a lot of time for many but most do get better. Time is your friend in this process. You can get a lot of info and answers on the site I suggested above. I was floxed in 2017 but not by ear drops. Hopefully someone that was floxed by ear drops may give you better feedback. For now, stay away from NSAIDs and steroids as they will worsen your condition and of course absolutely no more fluoroquinolines of any kind ever again. Eat clean and try not to take any prescription drugs as you are toxic right now and don’t want to add to it. Join the 24/7 group for a lot more feedback.

Hello, I am wondering if anyone here has worked with Dr. Hugh Wegwerth, a chiropractic doctor out of Rosemount, Minnesota? Just looking for any information you might want to share regarding his approach to FQT treatment.
Thanks,

Urgent: If you need to apply a steroid ointment, but all your anxiety and depression symptoms return after being floxed way back in 2016, is there something that will substitute for the steroid ointment? Thank you for any helpful information you can give me!

Hello , been debeilated and on disability after being robbed by lebofloxacin. I have been having major sinus issues with inflammation and have recently been perscribed amoxicillin and a steroid inhalent for my nose inflammation, i am really scared the steroid will bring back harmful symptoms and intensify my existing ones. Any recommendations from floxed victims who also have had sinus issues ?

Hello! Help, please, give me the advice I need.
Sorry for my English, I’m writing using Google Translate. Some words may not be translated correctly. I can explain if necessary.
I was poisoned with levofloxacin (Tavanic) in the fall of 2021. My joints and tendons ached. I couldn’t walk for 6 months. After some time, everything went away by 80% (I took Q10, PQQ, magnesium, selenium, resveratrol, Omega-3), but some pain in the tendons still persists.
I also had symptoms of neuropathy in my legs – burning and numbness in my feet, but within 2 weeks these symptoms went away completely.
My eyes also hurt, especially from bright light; it was hard for me to focus my eyes; transparent worms swam in front of my eyes. The doctor found conjunctivitis and increased destruction of the vitreous body (eye floaters), prescribed Cromoglycic acid and hydrocotisol ointment. After a few weeks my eyes felt better.
In the summer of 2023, I had a blockade (injection) of the hip (chronic pain due to a bruise in winter, enthesopathy) Diprospan (Betamethasone). After the 3rd injection, the pain in my tendons returned, and a month later my eyes began to hurt again, and it became difficult to focus my vision. The ophthalmologist diagnosed retinal dystrophy, optic neuropathy, partial atrophy of the optic nerve, but additional electrical examinations need to be done), and the ophthalmologist also referred me to an infectious disease specialist (a doctor who treats infectious diseases). Tests revealed that I had Toxoplasma in active form. The infectious disease specialist on the phone said that my eyes hurt from Toxoplasma, and if I don’t get treatment, I could become blind. I will go for a consultation to prescribe treatment the day after tomorrow.
In my country, doctors know little about fluoroquinolone poisoning. Nobody knows how to treat it. Many are convinced that these are safe antibiotics for young people. I told the infectious disease specialist about the side effects after levofloxacin, but I don’t know if he knows about the incompatibility with other drugs.
Since 2021, I have been taking Amoxiclav (Augmentin, Amoxicillin + Clavulanic acid), Tinidazole (Tindamax), Azithromycin, Hydrocortisone ointment in the eyes without bad feelings, without side effects.
Drugs that caused problems, side effects – Milgamma (these are vitamins B1, B6, B12), the burning sensation in the legs returned. Gabapentin (Neurontin) – increased tendon pain. Neuromidin (Ipidacrinum) – caused pain in the shoulders. Diprospan (Betamethasone) – renewed tendon pain and eye pain.
I’m shocked, I don’t know if my eyes hurt from the fluoroquinolones or from the toxoplasma. And doctors don’t know this. I could become blind if I refuse treatment for Toxoplasma or if the Toxoplasma Drugs worsen my optic neuropathy.
What drugs should I avoid to treat Toxoplasma?
Once again I apologize for my English.

I was floxed in 2010. Still have ongoing tendon problems in feet and knees. I found out I need cataract removal recently. Signed up for surgery and looked over ingredients in the eye drops one needs to use for weeks, only to see that they contain a fluoroquinolone called Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride and steroids. Now what do I do? These drops could cause multiple retinal detachments. I already has a tear in one retina five years after being floxed. Has anyone had similar need for cataract surgery and what did you do? I am in a real bad situation and would appreciate any suggestions.

Hello! Has anyone been treated using shock wave therapy for tendinitis? I’ve been suffering from tendinitis for two years after taking levofloxacin. Last winter, I fell and bruised my hip. Now I’m experiencing severe pain in the hip, buttock, and groin area. I have been diagnosed with tendinitis of the piriformis muscle and trochanteric tendinitis. I’ve tried many treatment methods, but nothing helped. The doctor prescribed corticosteroid injections for me. I agreed, and it was my mistake. Although the hip pain subsided, the pain in the tendons throughout my body, especially in the Achilles tendons, intensified. After 8 months, it became easier, but the hip pain persists. The doctor recommends focused shock wave therapy, saying it will help me. Could this type of treatment harm me?

Ladies!!!! and men too.
How many of you are aware that D-mannose will cut your UTI problems drastically? Do your research on D-Mannose. D-MANNOSE IS NOT AN ANTOBITIC.
D-mannose is a substance that coats the urinary tract and makes it to slick for the bacteria to stick and it is washed away by the urine. Enough said. Do your research.
