Does this happen with amoxicillin too? I have suffered from Utis for year till I was getting one every month or less. I was given so many antibiotics but I refused to take cipro or any had sulfur allergy. So I was limited on antibiotics I could take which didn’t make the urologist happy. For years I refused to take long term antibiotics until recently. I’ve tried every natural solution out there and ended with a holistic doctor that cost a fortune. Her solution was to stay on a very restrictive diet. It would have been easier not to eat. I’m now on amoxicillin. I go in today for recheck after taking it for 3 months. I have already ask this new urologist on my first visit that if the amoxicillin works what next and he very easily said that I would stay in this amoxicillin 500 mg a day FOREVER! I’m already going into anxiety just thinking about it. It has been wonderful not having a uti for months but I have digestive issues, prior blood clots,, other health issues that After reading this makes me think lots of my problems were made worse from taking past antibiotics and staying on this amoxicillin is not good at all! What is your opinion. Thank you
