Today, Friday November 9th 2018, is the first Fluoroquinolone Toxicity Awareness Friday. Please join me, and other fluoroquinolone toxicity awareness advocates, in spreading the news far and wide about the dangers of fluoroquinolones, and the devastation and destruction that fluoroquinolones have brought to too many lives.

Please join in as we do all sorts of things to raise awareness about FQs. We chose the final Friday before Antibiotic Awareness Week (Nov 12-19) so that people remember what they saw or read or heard when they see something else about antibiotics in the media. This is a genuine grass roots effort to get the help we need and deserve and to prevent others from suffering similar damage. We are hoping people will reach out to the media, to government agencies, to their friends and families and so on. We will be discussing all sorts of things people can do and of course everyone is encouraged to contribute in their own unique ways. Use your skills and your imagination and help us to build an annual tradition that makes a difference in more people’s lives each November. If you want, you can continue with awareness efforts all week long with me, but we are hoping to get something going where we all do something on Friday, whether it is to tell your story on your timeline or to share a favourite article, newscast or meme. It’s a Horton Hears a Who situation so please take some time and add your voice to the shouting and maybe they will finally hear us loud and clear. Thanks!

Thanks Lisa! I look forward to the years ahead when Fluoroquinolone Friday is a huge event with rallies all over the globe, meet ups on cruise ships, classes and seminars, media events and so on. In the mean time we just keep plugging away raising awareness where and when we can. It is tough to pull these things together when people keep killing themselves or trying to. Thank you for this site. My son ,age 39, is a victim of the horrid Flouroquinolone Toxicity, as well as Flagyl toxicity . My son was floxed Oct 2016. So glad there is more awareness being spread . If only my son and I had known back then what we know now. My son’s brain/CNS was initially affected and one things happened after another. He is still struggling
My fluoroquinolone Toxicity seemed to be improving. I hadn’t had pain for months and now it’s back with a vengeance. My knee joints, elbows, shoulder joints and foot tendons are all hurting so much and feel like they are “ripped or ripping”. I keep getting deep muscle cramps in my legs all of a sudden. I feel like it is happening all over again! Get this crap off the market ASAP! I tell everyone. Even when I am on the phone with my TV people or my Phone company or anyone. Even the postmaster. Tell everyone! Stop people from suffering!!!!

Terribly sad to learn of Marks passing. May he finally find the peace and pain free body he so tediously searched for. I’m going in Twelve years out. I didn’t know anything back in 2007. Until accidentally finding this site in 2011. I’ve gotten better so I thought just to develop another terrible effect. The thing that makes me feel the most anger is 12 years ago I was floxed. I’m still seeing it happening. Why, why, why ? No one said a word as instructed by attorneys for tendon damage. If that was the only side effect we wouldn’t all be here trying to heal. I’m still walking around with bilateral shoulder tendon tears need total replacement. Progressive neuropathy of which I treat with B-6 & biotin. Regugatation of my heart valves and left ventricular damage. Loss function was 65% three years ago. It’s worse now. I’ll be getting scans soon. My teeth started to break. I’ve always had strong teeth. That’s the vitamin depletion. I was floxed by levequin. I won’t try to list everything that’s been effected. I just know no matter what I do it has never stopped. Endocrine and microbial system damage. I was doing 15 different subliguals daily deficient in almost every vitamin and mineral. I felt like Mark many times. I can relate with him and it’s a scary thing. That is just something I would never do. My elderly Mom 81 was given Cipro at 76. I flipped out at her cardiologist. What’s wrong with these so called Doctors ? I’m at the point where I want anyone who’s newly floxed to file a complaint against their Dr. These drugs are toxic chemicals to the human body. They destroy people’s lives and cause loss of life. The Dr who prescribed 750mg of levequin to me along with prednisone inhaler. Was my Dr for years. I made an appointment with him three years ago. I got there right after his lunch, he still had his coat on. He went to take my BP I said don’t touch ME. Look at me. Look at my deformed ankles. I then went through the list of the permanent damage caused. His response was ” it’s FDA approved ” I said had you taken the time to look into the poisons your pushing. You would have seen that the day you prescribed me the thing that would ruin my entire life had been updated with hundreds of warnings 26 years ago. An atomic bomb for a simple sinus infection. ? I tell everyone possible about these killer drugs. I’ve had so many responses from people who say they were going to be given one of these poisons and. Remembered my warning and told them NO they are extremely harmful to people and cause devastating side effects. Those who have gotten better God Bless You all. People who like me who’ve tried everything possible to just relapse over and over and over again. ????. I just ordered some subliguals of vitamin c and Zinc. I’m trying to keep my 81 year old Mom from getting worse. She was extremely healthy and active. Going through the insomnia then the Chronic fatigue. Back and forth. There are days I stay in bed because I hurt so badly. I want to get up and go. Yet I can’t. As I said I was doing well for awhile. Taking colostrum gave me a push I needed. My endocrinologist is great. Checks every mineral and vitamin levels twice yearly. My thyroid is enlarged watching that and I feel as if my kidneys are hurting. The left one. Going for a CT scan of my entire stomach pelvis area. It will pick up anything. I asked for a full body scan. Why primary won’t oblige is beyond me. I’m going to ask once again. As I don’t like having that IV contrast. Who knows what will happen next. Thank you Lisa for this site had I not found it when I did ? Just might not be here anymore. Having hope is a good thing. Never give up on Hope. Newly floxed get Epsom salt asap and bath in it. It will help get this poison out and hopefully spare you of the permanent damage. Rest peacefully Mark. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. Please everyone keep the hope. 12 years of Hoping here. I will never stop completely, yet I will never give up. I will warn as many as possible.. Newly floxed call a lawyer these Dr’s and pharmacists need to be taught just how badly they’re hurting people. Through their bank books. God only knows what it’s cost us. Not only our bodies and minds but jobs and savings. It’s cost us everything. I have a horrible subcranial headach right now. Stay as healthy as possible. Health is EVERYTHING. Fight for it.
